Robert Mueller's proposed questions should make Donald Trump very nervous

Robert Mueller's proposed questions should make Donald Trump very nervous - CNNPolitics

This kangaroo court grilling is WITHOUT A DOUBT a PERJURY TRAP.

After millions of dollars and immeasurable harm done to the nation by obstructing the mission of the POTUS Donald J Trump, Mueller has descended to the sleaze lawyer trick of setting a PERJURY TRAP (IMO) for the president.

The List:
Mueller's questions for Trump: Read the full list

The way you avoid such a "trap" is not to perjure yourself.

If you don't remember, or don't have a clear memory, simply state that. I don't think anyone expects the President to remember everything, despite his claims of having a superior memory.

I have been questioned as a suspect in a few investigations over the years. I simply tell the unvarnished truth and let the chips fall where they may. I had the opportunity to tell my side of things, what I was thinking, and what I witnessed, and have walked away unscathed. If a person is innocent, being questioned is daunting, but hardly unfair.

A man with the legal assistance Donald Trump has should not have any problems if he is innocent.

Actually, these are areas of inquiry as interpreted by Jay Sekulow, not a "full list" of questions. There will be follow-up questions based on the answers he gives.

This is a wonderful time for the President to explain his actions and thinking -- where he remembers them -- and tell his version of the story. As long as he tells the truth and doesn't try to embellish anything, he'll do fine. If nothing else, he can plead the 5th Amendment and not participate in the investigation. Of course that has political consequences as well as not being able to head off potential charges before they go to a trial (if prosecution is warranted).

After all, he is a very stable genius. I'm sure he knows these things already.

Wrong, innocent mistakes can be turned into perjury.
The POTUS should refuse and call Mueller's bluff - The SCOTUS should decide if a sitting president should be exposed to a kangaroo collusion court of Trump haters and #NEVERTRUMPers.

OR Take the 5th amendment - everyone will understand including the haters (but they will scream with hair-on-fire).

You act as if the President will not have the opportunity to clear his name if charges are filed.

The way not to make "innocent mistakes" is to ask for context and/or say that you don't recall if you are not absolutely certain. His attorneys will be available to advise him.

You have an extremely cartoonish version of what such a questioning would be.

He certainly has that option.

Sure.

You sure have a lot of vitriol against our legal system.

He should just take the 5th whether he needs to or not or he could just not remember a lot.

Works for democrats all the time.

actually the questions leaked by the Mueller team is a smokescreen.

The first question on the real list

Mr. President, all questions are "Yes" or "No" questions, please answer "Yes" or "No":

Mr. President are you still colluding with the Russians?

The Mueller team is somehow leaking Jay Sekulow's notes?

He could just refuse to answer. In any case, that is a ridiculous premise that would not be a basis for prosecution, much less conviction of a crime.

Trump needs to tell Mueller to go pound sand.

What evidence do you have that the Mueller team is leaking legal notes from Donald Trump's attorney?

Dont tell me tell Mueller.
I don't think I have to do that. Mueller is not a fool.

Do you have any evidence that Mueller has questioned the President in such a manner? If not, you are imagining something that you think he might do and condemning him on the basis of your imagination, not reality.

Not really. Have you noticed that I think it is a perfectly fine thing for the President to say that he "does not recall" when he legitimately is not sure? Have you noticed that I think it is acceptable for him to take the 5th? I really mean that.

Same as Mueller has for collusion.

Your choice of the noun, not mine.

Again, same as the evidence Mueller has after almost 2 years, millions of dollars and obstruction of the presidents job on the Russian Collusion Delusion Wild Goose Chase,
