    The hits just keep on coming for one of the greatest pitchers of all time.

    What is going to end up happening?

    Is this controversy going to end up along the lines of OJ Simpson and Pete Rose?

    This is really getting ugly. I don't know what to think about the man.

    But the Red Sox never used his number 21 after he joined the Blue Jays, and the assumption in the Boston press was it would be retired someday, but now I'm not so sure that'll happen.

    OJ and Pete are miles apart. OJ killed two people and widened the fault lines of national race relations in this country. No question Pete is a tragic figure, though.

    Clemens is quickly becoming a national punch-line. Can anyone really say they are surprised? He has always had a bombastic personality and got into fracases often.

    I remember early in his career (like in the late 80's) Clemens saying he was a Christian, but I heard less and less of that as his career progressed.
