Roll Call!

stanleyg

New Member
Our King Jesus Christ has promoted me as the airline steward to administrate His roll call for our itinerary to travel back home. If you're ready, then please sign up to join the rapture. If you're not ready, but wish for your name to be on the roll call anyway, then feel free to come register. Be sure to email or text message family, friends, neighbors and/or associates about our roll call. If they don't hear, then how will they know or be saved?

Each name not on our Lord's roll call will be left behind when our Lord arrives to pick us up.

Amen!

Prov14:35 The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame

Here is what Jesus says about the day of judgment:

37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

What was it like in the days of Noah? Jesus explains:

38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.

The wicked were taken away by the flood unto death, and Noah and his family were the ones left behind.

That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

The same will be true at the coming of the Son of Man. The wicked will be destroyed and taken away, and the people of God will be left behind. I will still be here. I hope you will too. Praise the Lord.

Or could it be that Noah and his family were taken away in the ark and the people left on the earth remained for the judgment of God?

I am looking forward to the return of Jesus for His Church and being "caught up" to be with Him---I don't look forward to being left here.

Bro. Tony,

That is a good imagination you have there, but who does Jesus say are the ones who were taken away?

39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.

Noah knew exactly what was coming. It was those who scoffed at Noah and were ignorant of the coming judgment who were taken away. It was, therefore, logically Noah and his family who were left behind. I pray we are all left behind.

Good Thought Joseph----but where is the judgment going to take place? Who will God pour out His judgment on? And who does He say is not appointed to wrath? The flood was clearly God's judgment, as it will come in that day for those who dont believe.

Whether we agree or not, my brother, I will wave to you on the way up:D

God will judge the unrighteous both here on earth and at the judgment seat after we are dead. They will burn in Hell forever.

The unrighteous / lost.

His elect.

22What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? 23What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— 24even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles? 25As he says in Hosea:
"I will call them 'my people' who are not my people;
and I will call her 'my loved one' who is not my loved one,"[i] 26and,
"It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them,
'You are not my people,'
they will be called 'sons of the living God.' "[j]
27Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:
"Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea,
only the remnant will be saved.
28For the Lord will carry out
his sentence on earth with speed and finality."[k]

Wow! Who would have thought we agree, even if we don't see how these will be accomplished the same way:thumbsup:

Further, Noah and his family did not escape the flood. They were preserved right in the midst of it

Question, since there will not be another world wide flood, should I find someone building a huge bomb shelter?

It's a guy that was in a movie .. a gangster / good guy film .. lots of "shoot-em-up," fights, beatings ... IMHO.

I think the title was "Shaft". Came out several years ago.

If I am correct, it is Lawrence Fishburne, he has done a lot of good movies. The one that I always think of is Boyz N the Hood and then Osmosis Jones LOL

Characters is what he plays - fiction based on reality, spme of them anyways

You may say I am not a good Christian because I watch all types of movies. Movies provoke thought and some show us reality in other parts of the world. Ignorance is not always bliss.

Excellent actor - I should put up a picture of Angelina Jolee  Lot of violence in her movies as well

I do not think a lot of Baptists would watch the movies I like - personal taste and perception

Actually the last movie I really liked was Narnia, some of my favorites are A Time to Kill, Look Who's Coming to Dinner...of course I watch the Wizard of Oz every year, O my goodness, witches, magic and the such - o my:tongue3:

Not really a movie person, just know good acting when I see it

If you are part of the elect, you don't have to worry about it. If not, the deepest bomb shelter in the world won't protect you from the wrath of God.

It doesn't surprise me. Most Churches spend too much time reading Tim Lehaye and listening to John Hagee and not enough time reading the Bible. :wavey:
