I hope so. There has been twenty four years of disappointing Republicans. Who knows, if Romney wins, he might be a surprise. I do agree with the improvement in the platform based on some of Paul's ideas. If Romney does lose, I am optimistic enough to believe in 2016, we will finally get a conservative candidate.

I was trying to read the platform in LE's link and my computer is not cooperating for some reason. Is the Human Life Amendment still included? The last time I checked Romney was not supporting that but it has been several weeks since I checked. Romney/Ryan ticket also supports abortion for rape and incest. Elevate a man who worships a false god to be the potential leader of the free world and this is supposed to be God giving the nation one more chance?

One more chance for what? To show that Christians think a man is gonna take the country back?

Nominating this false god worshiper is wicked. And it is OUR wickedness that prohibits us from "taking the country back". But the scales are over too many eyes.

All these moral platitudes yet where are the Christians espousing that morality is measured against Christ? Or would pointing such a thing out highlight that the top of the ticket is a wicked man and a leader in a cultish religion that is against Jesus Christ?

i guess you can't really talk about your moral platform if, in measuring morality in a Biblical manner, you point out that nominee to be the leader out of the party is an immoral, anti-Christ.
