    Back in the 1700's Rhode Island did not want to ratify the new US Constitution. The State was threaten, that if it did not, than the other States would consider it a foreign country.

    Lets assume that Little Rhody decided to go it alone. How would that have changed history. :confused: Would the War of 1812 have had a differnet outcome? :(

    The trouble is, I don't know. Nowadays, it seems like a tiny, rather insignificant state (no offense to you Rhodies), but at that time it was important.

    What is your take on it, Salty?
