Is anyone familiar with the Rotherham's Emphasized Bible? I have been reading about it(I haven't actually read the version itself) and it is touted as being the most literal translation available, being as close to being able to read the Bible in Greek and Hebrew as one can get without actually reading the Bible in Greek and Hebrew.

Just wondering if this is true.

KenH. As far as I know this claim is not true. I have somewhere on the net seen excerpts from Rotheram's and it was not especially literal. You could search for it through yahoo or google, and learn for yourself if it is so.

Rotherham's version is available online at Olive Tree. Be prepared for lots of commas and other additional punctuation we don't normally see in various translations.
