Maybe Ryan didn't mean to do this, but because of his non endorsement endorsement last week, Ryan fed the Trump publicity machine with another week of high anxiety television hype.
Trump seems to still be sucking the air out of the room where ever he goes. Even in a dull week for news, dull since Cruz dropped out, Trump was able to generate media hype that has earned him tons of more free television coverage. Truly he is like no other candidate for president in the age of "media sells elections." In the early 70's there was a good book titled the "Selling of the President" by Joe McGinniss. If you have the chance to read it, I highly recommend it. It rivals the "The Art of the Deal!"
Do you believe that Ryan knew he was helping steal more free television coverage for Trump, or was it just a chance thing?
