Simon Bolivar, one of the greatest generals in the history of the world, freed six countries from Spain: Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Ecuador, and Bolivia.

He died on December 17, 1830, at a private home in Santa Marta, Colombia, a seaport.

    El Libertador, The Liberator.

The estate where he was is now a museum and the grounds are a park with new white buildings constructed in 1930, the old home with its private chapel painted in the colonial yellow color.

Someone has published a short video of the place with the music of Mozart in the background.

It is called La Quinta San Pedro Alejandrino--the Country Estate San Pedro Alejandrino.
