    We often hear in Christian circles about the salvation of a lost person. Apparently they heard the word of God, their hearts responded to the call, and their lives were never the same again. Based on tis knowledge, my question is, what were they saved from? No, it's not a trick question! ;)

    How about John 3: 15 - 21? ... that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3: 36 .. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Saved from darkness .. eternal damnation .. I think the "saved to" part says it all .. eternal life.

    We have been saved from the penalty of sin, we are being saved from the power of sin, we shall be saved from the presence of sin!PTL! ;)
