The news that Anthony Scaramucci resigned shortly after General Kelly's swearing in as the White House Chief of Staff didn't come as a shock to me. Hindsight is far better then foresight, and it looks like the President needed to clean out some closets in the WH, and it looks to me, that the man who, "Loved this President" was a hitman/cleaner who had a job to do, and he did it very well.

I was wondering if any of you have thoughts as to this short lived appointment of Scaramucci? Finally, I can't help but think that POTUS used his public rant against Sessions was a well designed distraction to permit Mucci time to take down Priebus, and rid Trump of a bad appointment to COS position?

I think Scaramucci was viewed as an impertinent child by the new chief of staff, John Kelly. I also believe Kelly's condition for taking the job is that he gets to hire and fire whoever he wants. The man is a decorated Marine and has a high opinion of the chain of command. Scarmucci is not a team player, and he presented a threat to unit cohesion, so he had to go.

Smooch didn't even get to start the job officially, so no tenure or retirement.

Why in the world would the president of the United States have to bring in Smooch for such a byzantine plot? He could have fired the CoS without all the drama. Instead, the Smooth episode just made it look like the president is not in control of his own administration.
