Science Increasingly Makes the Case for God

Yeah for science. I am not surprised. Science looks for truth and ultimately truth leads us to God.

In 1966 Time magazine ran a cover story asking: Is God Dead? Many have accepted the cultural narrative that he’s obsolete—that as science progresses, there is less need for a “God” to explain the universe. Yet it turns out that the rumors of God’s death were premature. More amazing is that the relatively recent case for his existence comes from a surprising place—science itself.

That article says what I want it to say and confirms my biases, but it is not valid.

If atheistic evolution is true (it's not), then we would expect that life on this planet would have evolved to be in perfect harmony with the conditions that exist here. It would be astonishing if it did not.

Therefore, the "fine tuning" of the universe does not prove anything about God, atheistic evolution, or anything else except for maybe the need to take care of the planet so we don't destroy ourselves.

I like Eric Metaxas, but he is mistaken here.

Even if it were true that science looks for truth (and it is not) greater still scripture is truth. The search is over and it is settled.

Amen, Brother!! Amen!!! If you add up everything that science knows or will ever now from science's past, to its present, and to the future of science-----add all of that up and you will find that science(past, present, and future) falls short of the glory of God found in the manifestation of the Lord Jesus Christ!!!!

Science is always having to change. Such change is hailed as good. The word of God never changes and is settled. We have a foundation of truth that makes science look pitiful. Some want to take that pitiful standard (science that is) and use it to interpret scripture. Sad
