Did a little quick research, and cloning is not in itself illegal here, but you can not get goverment funding, and the rearch for cloning is illegal. The UN has tried to urge countries to make it illegal to clone humans (there was some kind of vote, I really don't know how anything wroks in the UN).

    Neither does the UN. :saint:

The link said it's illegal in the UK and other countries. I'd like to see a world wide ban.

I said it was illegal in some places. It should be illegal every where.

    Which Scripture does cloning violate?

I think the claim is suspicious at best.

God created human beings with the ability to recreate themselves, male and female contribute to that recreation as God planned. Cloning is a violation of God's created purpose for men and women to reproduce.

    That's not a Scripture, it's a commentary.

Cloning will happen in the future....

At least, I truly believe it will

What will our response be as Christians to clones?
    Will they have a soul?
    Will they need a savior?

Will they be welcomed in your church?

    Genesis 1:27-28 (KJV)
27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

I agree, God said we are to be fruitful and multiply. Not clone ourselves so we can harvest organs to live longer.

We are not to love this world and want to live forever. We are to live as the scriptures tell us to and not fear death. Christ defeated death on the cross, so we might live forever with Him in Heaven.

If God intended people to fly, he'd have given them wings! Airplanes should be banned.

 Planes, cars, and so on are referred to in the Bible.

    Habakkuk 1:8 (KJV)
Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.

A few years ago there was a scientist with his lab on the upper floor of a skyscraper. He had cloned a human, but the clone had picked up a vocabulary that was basically cursing. After a while, the scientist told the clone to change his language or he was going to throw him out the window.

Sure enough, the clone did not change. One day the scientist opened the window and threw the clone to his death. A policeman on duty saw the whole incident.

He rushed up to the lab, and arrested the scientist. What was the charge? Making an obscene clone fall.

All the concern over cloning is useles. It is never going to happen. God has control over life and the genetic code. And no one really knows the outcome of adding some skin cells to a fertilized egg in a dish. This is similar to scientists who claim if they find water on other lanets then there must have been life their at some time. Scientists tend to think way to much of their little accomplishments.
