I just read the story.. To me it shows an intelligent design..

God's fingerprint is everywhere in the universe...

I love these type of stories..

Like the fact that the universe is folding upon itself.. Hebrews 1 already tells us this... and that is awesome!

My problem with intelligent design is that it believes in a god , not THE God, the god of intelligent design is never named as being the God of the bible, this god is so anonymous it could be whatever god the person using the phrase wants it to be, and here people thinking it means the God of the bible will agree not knowing it isn't the real God they are talking about.

Intelligent design is what God puts in the unbelievers concise Romans 1:20. John MacArthur said the number one lie Satan uses today is the theory of Evolution. Not everyone thinks intelligent design=pagan gods.

Seems to me another desperate attempt to prove NO GOD but other life.

They don't deny that other life-- particularly intelligent life-- is a major aim. From the article:

"The team plans to continue looking for Earth-like, rocky planets around other stars. "With similar observing conditions an Earth-like planet located in the middle of the habitable zone of a red dwarf star could be detectable," Bonfils said. "The hunt continues." And HARPS isn't the only instrument looking for low-mass, Earth-like planets. NASA's new Kepler space telescope will also be peering through the galaxy in search of smaller alien worlds."

"They don't deny that other life-- particularly intelligent life-- is a major aim." This is why I said life other than God.
