Talking about the NY 23, if I remember correctly Owens was sworn in within about 72 hours of winning.
I wonder how long it will take Brown to be sworn in.

Hard to understand the glee of some of you who place abortion as the only issue, at the election of a pro-abortion US Senator. From MSNBC's story about his rise to power:

My "glee" isn't about the election of Brown, specifically, as much as it is at the idea that (a) this may buy us a little more time on health care, (b) that it's a sign that Americans are starting to wake up and (it's causing) the Democrats to turn on one another and show people what they're really made of.

BTW, Brown supports health care reform, just not this bill since Massachusetts already has it. He does support his state's "Marxist" plan. You are quite ill informed.
The current Senate bill should be voted down for a number of reasons. But we still need to go to a single-payer, universal coverage, government funded plan.
