Scripture threatens loss of salvation to pre-tribulationists!

2 Thessalonians 2 (NKJV):
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter,
as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means;
for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first,
and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition
,
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped,
so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The antichrist comes first, and he causes the great tribulation,
which then causes the falling away (apostacy).

This great falling away from the church is the result of
many pre-tribulation believers NOT being prepared in any way
for the horrendous persecution that will be coming upon them!

These many will NOT endure with their faith until the end of their lives.
These many will NOT refuse to take the mark of the beast.

Scriptures are available upon request regarding …
the warnings that either one of these two causes loss of salvation!

All of this happens before Jesus comes to rapture His bride (in verse 1).

It is too bad you just quote a few little verses at the beginning of the chapter, and that is all. They are taken out of context. Unless you read the entire chapter you do not get the sense of what the first few verses are speaking about and therefore come to a false conclusion.

A false premise always leads to a false conclusion.

the great apostasy happened in the dark ages - the Papacy.

And more tribulation is coming.

Brother Bob,
Are you saying that the Day of the Christ, the antichrist, etc. that Paul was referring to
would not happen for 1700 years?
Why not just tell them not to be concerned because these things wouldn't happen in their lifetimes?

Whos gonna be the first one here to step up and admit they are a pre-tribber?

Its okay to confess that you will definitely not be a coward
and run from Christian persecution which is unto death,
and its okay to confess that you will definitely not take the mark of the beast
which guarantees loss of salvation.

Actually it would be a good confession to make before us all.

Yes this is especially true of the good revster
who appears to be scared to death of what he will be facing very soon!
Incredibly sad.

Is he too proud to admit that he has been pre-trib, or is he too ashamed to admit it?
Pick one opposite or tother.
