I am still in shock that they actually still play football in Seattle....isn't it about time for them to fall apart?

Surely no one thinks they are actually going to do anything in the playoffs

 

I was at that game.

Stayed for every stinking minute of it.

The funniest thing I've ever seen is Koy Detmer, down 42-0, with twenty seconds left in the game, call a timeout to try to put a scoring drive together.

 

They're waiting for the NFC Championship Game before choking.

Before you dismiss them so lightly, consider what we've seen since the turn of the century.

The California Angels won the World Series.
The Boston Red Sox won the World Series.
The Chicago White Sox won the World Series.
The Houston Astros went to the World Series.
The New England Patriots won 3 Super Bowls.

Before they won anything, every one of those teams had a long history of losing. It's like sports-karma is being turned on its head and things that never would have happened in the 20th century are now happening in the 21st century.

There's also the other side, where teams that always win, like the New York Yankees, are finding ways to lose 3-0 leads in the ALCS.

So, take heart Hawks fans, there's hope that a franchise with a long history of losing can win. If the Boston Red Sox can win the World Series, anything can happen.
