Secular inconsistency

One argument used against religion in general, and therefore sometimes against Christianity, is that it somehow contributes to causing wars, which often leads to mass deaths. Yet some of the people who use this argument would support abortion for any reason, even the most trivial.

This to me shows that the ''war'' is just one of several boltholes that they use as an excuse to maintain their status quo. I am not particularly an anti-abortion extremist but I find this blatant hypocrisy incredibly telling.

Two edged sword. Every person uses this process to "prove" his point of view.

Does anyone think that their arguments will change their opponents?

Has anyone changed their opinion because of an argument read on this list? (Please describe)

Not sure what you mean by ''process''. I certainly wouldn't expect any pro-choice extremist to have their views changed by one post on a message board, I was just pointing out a contradiction that rarely (certainly on this side of the pond) seems to be noticed.
