    » Assignment Organizer

So, you have a string of papers to write this week, as well as your thesis book reviews to do, and a ga-zillion other assignments and their due dates to remember besides. Sound familiar? Well, this little program will help you keep track of it all. Ideal for the serious procrastinator, the best part of this program is that you can configure it to "nag" you! It can be set to automatically open an unfinished (or un-started!) paper at set times (write me! write me!). Can be set to reside in the system tray. Go to http://www.htpshareware.com/assignment-organizer/ for more info or to download. Shareware that cost $12 after an evaluation period.

    » AtNote

AtNote is like Post-it Notes for your desktop! You write small notes to yourself that you can either keep pasted on your desktop to sit and stare at you, or set at specified intervals to pop-up and play a sound to remind you. If your routine is to check your e-mail each day, you no longer miss dates or times for anything! I have tried half a dozen or so of this type of program, and am only happy with this one. I find it works better for me personally than Assignment Organizer does, which itself takes a bit of time to set up and use. Resides in the system tray. Freeware. Go to http://www.atnotes.com.ar/index_en.htm for more info or to download.
