September Is A Calvinistic Month

I left out the adverb "very" this time . Some of you will have to help me add some names . The September calendar is kind of empty .

3 rd - In 1708 William Grimshaw was born .

8 th - In 1499 Peter Martyr Vermigli was born .

10 th - In 1519 John Colet died .

17 th - In 1575 Heinrich Bullinger died .

23 rd - In 1571 Bishop John Jewel died .

24 th George Tybout Purves died ( 3 days before his birthday ) in 1901 .

25 th - In 1714 William Romaine was born .

27 th - The aforementioned G.T.P. was born in 1852 .

28 th - Francis Turretin died in 1687 .

29 th - George Whitefield died in 1770 .

Wouldn't it be easier to post which months are NOT calvinistic months?

You'll probably find that these threads are somewhat of a joke, as all months will probably be portrayed as "Calvinistic months" in the course of a year. ;)

Here is an idea. We could have 13 months, redivide the days, and call the month Calvin. Then we could read from Calvin 3:16 "For God so love the world He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever was elected before the foundation of the world shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
