    Yeah, need moar info.

We all thought, "If anyone will reverse the transgender nonsense and women in the infantry, it'll be Mattis."

But so far all he's been good for is funny memes.

I should hope so. All this kind of stuff has gotten way out of hand. The job of the military is warfighting, not transgendering!

Whatever your thoughts or beliefs are, why should anyone think the government should pay for an elective surgery like that? What's next, nose jobs and face lifts?

Actually, the answer is Yes - but for only one reason - so plastic surgeons can keep their skills sharp.I
Injures while in combat may require the services of plastic surgeons.

I was referring to elective procedures for cosmetic reasons...of course, I agree with and support reconstructive surgery for anyone injured in the line of duty. I can't think of any reason anyone would need to have transgender surgery at the expense of the government. If they are so psychologically unstable, they need to be discharged.

Kimda looks like the service chiefs are servile politicians, going along with whatever keeps them employed

I'd have been impressed if one would have resigned when this nonsense started. Switching positions now? Yeah, real brave there guys.
