It was an honest faux pas. I can see how some of the students may have been offended by the whole "alien" thing and then serving Mexican food.
Just when I think PC liberals can get no stupider, something like this comes along.
I do believe the libs have some secret confab that scans the activities across the country and looks for something they can classify as "OFFENSIVE"!

The school is 30+% Hispanic and Latino, which almost makes them the majority population on the UC Santa Cruz campus.
They are in an area in which the primary industry is agriculture.
It may be a reach for us. But maybe not so much for them because of where they are.
