Love perhaps is the most complex thing in the Bible, because it contains many different characteristics and meanings.
Love as a redemption.
Exodus 15.13
13.In Your love You led the people whom You redeemed, You guided them by Your strength to Your holy place.
The First Commandment.
Matthew 22.37-40
37.He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
38.This is the greatest and First Commandment.
39.And a second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
40.On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the prophets.”
Mark 12.29-33
29.Jesus answered, “The first is: Hear O Israel the Lord our GOD, the Lord is One,
30.*you shall love the Lord your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
31.The second is this, *'You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other Commandment greater than these.”
I really like the next passage. It contains FEAR OF GOD, LOVE OF GOD, and SERVICE OF GOD from all the heart and soul.
Deuteronomy 10.12.18-19
12.So now O Israel, what does the Lord your GOD require of you? Only to fear the Lord your GOD, to walk in all His way, to love Him, to serve the Lord your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul, (Deuteronomy 30.2.6.10.16.20) (Matthew 22.37-40) (Mark 12.29-31) (Luke 10.27).
Psalm of David 103.17-18
17.But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children's children,
18.to those who keep His Covenant and remember to do His Commandments.
1Thessalonians 1.3
3.trembling before our GOD and Father, your Work of Faith, and labor of love, and steadfastness of Hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. (KSB)
But how we can LOVE GOD? What we have to do to show our LOVE for the Lord? Would be obeying GOD'S Commandments shows our love for Him?
Exodus 20.6
6."but showing love to the thousandth generations of those who love Me and keep My Commandments"
John 14.15.21.23-24.28-29.31
15."If you love Me you will keep My Commandments.
21.They who have My Commandments and keep them are those who love Me, and those who love Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love them and reveal Myself to them.”
23.Jesus answered him, “Those who love Me will keep My Word, and My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make Our home with them.
(Verse 23. "Us - Our - We" (Genesis 1.26, 3.22, 11.7, 18.1-8.22) (Isaiah 6.8, 41.22-26)
24.Whoever does not love Me does not keep My Words, and the Word that you hear is not Mine but is from the Father Who sent Me.

16.If you obey the Commandments of the Lord your GOD that I am commanding you today by loving the Lord your GOD, walking in His ways and observing His Commandments, Decrees and Ordinances, then you shall live and become numerous, and the Lord your GOD will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.
Nehemiah 1.5
5.I said, "O Lord GOD of Heaven, the great and awesome GOD Who keeps Covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His Commandments,"

3.The love of GOD is this that we obey His Commandments. And His Commandments are not burdensome,
