Albuquerque voter says she could just feel the judgment when she cast her municipal ballot at Hoffmantown Church [SBC]:

http://www.abqjournal.com/305130/news/woman-says-she-felt-judged-after-voting-at-hoffmantown.html

A poll worker “looked at my ballot and looked at me and said, ‘God bless you,’ ” Sanchez said.

She took the comment as a judgmental and negative response to her choice. “Everyone has a right to vote in peace and not be judged,” Sanchez said.

Four of Albuquerque’s 50 polling sites on Election Day were in churches. That triggered criticism from City Councilor Rey Garduño, who said he will object to their use in future elections.

Sounds to me like someone who "--is fleeing when no-one is pursuing".
Guilty conscience perhaps?????

Oh, if you don't believe in God & someone "God blesses you", just DON'T consider yourself blessed; certainly nothing to fret about!

As one of my ex bosses used to say, "Monkeys is de cwaziest people!"
Seems he was correct, if this "offense" is real.

Yeah - I feel judged every time I have to walk into a public school as a Christian homeschooling mom. ;)

Jerome, I doubt if she was in the sanctuary. She probably was just in the basement or the Sunday School building. Churches let their buildings be used as a public service because the governments pay very little in user fees. There is no reason to be nervous about going into a church to vote. I wonder how the lady would have felt if she had voted in a mosque such as in Plainfield, Indiana?
