Not exactly the groundswell of support that Big Media would lead you to believe with its coverage.

I didn't think it would be even that high.

I believe most folks, even those against the war, see her as a pawn and emotionally unstable.

It's hard to hold up people like that.

In fact, I think a person on the opposite end of the spectrum shouting "Nuke 'em all" would have more support than Sheehan.

On the other hand, only 38% view her unfavorably. Considering how she's been smeared by Rush & pals, that's not too bad.

I couldn't find how the poll was conducted or what the margin of error is.

She's done most of her own smearing by regurgitating leftist talking points and her foul mouth.

The telephone survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports August 17-18, 2005. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. 37% of survey respondents were Republican, 37% Democrat, and 26% unaffiliated.

She gets 37% support with the help from the main-stream media. Once the MSM runs out of nonsense to cover for her, and people really find out what she's really about, she'll get the approval she deserves, which is about 1%.

I haven't heard her say anything foul. Can you point to a source. Also:

August 19, 2005--Cindy Sheehan, the grieving mother who maintained an anti-War protest outside of President Bush's ranch, is viewed favorably by 35% of Americans and unfavorably by 38%.

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president?"

    Approve Disapprove Unsure
    45% 51% 4%

The reason Sheehan's support (and opposition) are so small is that that are a much larger number of people who are familiar with her.

    OK.
At an April 27, 2005 rally at a San Francisco State University rally for Lynne Stewart, she was at her best.

But first, who is Lynne Stewart?

NEW YORK (CNN) -- A New York jury on Thursday convicted U.S. attorney Lynne Stewart and two other defendants of helping terrorists and lying to the U.S. government.

Stewart was found guilty of all five counts naming her, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, providing and concealing material support, and making false statements.

Some of Mrs. Sheehan's language is not family friendly, especially using God's name in vain, so I will understand if a moderator deletes this link.

She seems to imply that we should let Iran and Syria to have atomic bombs. How long does she thing that it would be before Iran and Syria used them?

Do you look for Mrs. Clinton to take up the leftist point of view of Mrs. Sheehan by saying that Bush is a liar and that there were no WMDs and no connection between Iraq and al-Qaeda? By the way, wouldn't that make Bill Clinton a liar also since he has said that he thought that Iraq had WMDs? Do you think that Mrs. Clinton will say that it is okay for Iran to have the atomic bomb and Syria, too?

Polls have been so manipulated and abused, that I wish they were outlawed... Start with your conclusion, then frame the questions to get the answers you want!

Don't you guys realize that in any other month of the year this is NON NEWS...

It's August! The slowest news month in Washington, D.C. Everybody's on Vacation and the parasites (excuse me, the reporters) are jumping on every little story and blowing it out of proportion.

From a Veteran of the Iraq war on Bushs dog and
    pony show in Idaho.

Paul Rieckhoff is the Executive Director and Founder of Operation Truth, America's first and largest Iraq Veterans group.

Yesterday, during his speech in Idaho, President Bush took a page straight out of Vince McMahon’s playbook. McMahon is the infamous head of World Wrestling Entertainment (formerly the WWF). In the war for public opinion and ratings, McMahon has always been the master.

When WWF competitor National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) found success with the Legion of Doom, McMahon created Demolition.

When rival Extreme Championship Wrestling (WCW) struck gold with Sandman, McMahon came up with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

When nWo got big, McMahon made up Degeneration X.

So with Cindy Sheehan dominating the scene, what did President Bush do yesterday?

    He created Tammy Pruett.

    McMahon would be proud.

I see things haven't changed much here.

Does any liberal actually pay attention to the things Cindy Sheehan lets come out of her mouth?
