Vets, did you know that you can now shop at the on-line PX!
In addition, you are able to apply for the Military PX credit card.
The advantage of the card is that there is no shipping charges.

Click here for the PX website

and remember - no sales tax when you shop the PX

You just need to be a veteran, not a retired one?

Any Veteran - whether you have 20 years or 2 years. (Honorably discharged, I would assume)

Oh yes, honorably for sure. USAF 1974-1978.

I was given a general discharge under honorable conditions.

What does that mean - you were bad and good at the same time? (LOL)

I was a good sailor. Decorated with the Navy Expeditionary medal. Served three Persian Gulf tours.

I was discharged by Ronald Reagan, along with thousands of others for testing positive for marijuana.

I still enjoy medical and dental benefits, but I never claim anything at any stores. I still qualify as a protected veteran although Ive never used that protection at work. Like I said, my service was good. I was in charge of our 5”54 cal radar system. I did four years of good service. And I never had any marijuana on our ship and I was never high on a watch. But one day the Navy adopted a zero tolerance for use off base. The Navy lost thousands of experienced veterans over this. You can test positive for marijuana up to 60 days after use. I think it was a mistake to get rid of me but it really hasn’t hurt me in any away at all.

Not sure why I chose this thread for that. My apologies.
