This is a DISGUSTING news story, and in my way of thinking, I have to ask why an 18year-old, who spoke NO ENGLISH, was put into a public school program as a ninth grade freshman?! The concept of adult education exists to provide young adults with appropriate school coursework, in an environment that is BOTH and appropriate for the 18 year old and his fellow classmates.
The decision to put this young man in with children aged between 13 and 14 years old was reckless, and the officials who gave the greenlight to this move should be subject to disciplinary action and sued by the victim and her parents.
Do you agree that adult high school would have been most appropriate for this illegal immigrant? And would you be outraged upon hearing that a young adult, with no grasp of the English language, were placed in your son or daughters classes?
