    How did we miss this!!! Today, Sat, 2 Sep - Japan signs an unconditional Surrender ending WW II. Thank you to our Greatest Generation - not only the GI's but to all who sacrificed for several years

    Should VE day be a holiday? Nope
    Should the days we dropped A bombs on Japan be a holiday? Nope

    Should the day we stopped the blood shed of the Korean Conflict be a holiday? No
    Should the day we stopped the American bloodshed of the Viet Nam war a holiday? No

    We have Independence day, the start of a war.
    We had Armistice Day, the end of WWI. Now Vets Day.
