I speak of the action. You speak of the people.

Approval of what? They weren't thieving and whoring and robbing and getting drunk. They were eating.

My daughter is engaged to be married to her girlfriend. I will not be there. However, the majority of my family, who claims to be Christians will be there to view the nuptials and dance at the after party.

And while this event will trigger a new round of judgment toward me, her father, ignoring her elation let alone the happiest day of her life, I will be called the "Born-again" fanatic.

I'd rather be born again, then on the wide road and full paved with good intentioned folks, mislead by sin and declining morals and values!

    Great sbject Judith!

Two people of the same sex entering into a contractual agreement to engage in all the activities normally engaged in by heterosexual couples?

No, there won't be open activities at the wedding itself; but the wedding is an acknowledgement, and thus condoning, that such activities will occur.

As Jesus was eating with the thieves, do you suppose He was telling them that stealing was a sin? While scripture doesn't say, I'd have to say that if He would tell the adulteress to go and sin no more, He probably said the same to them as well.

I can't see any of us attending a homosexual wedding and proclaiming during the ceremony that the act of homosexuality is a sin.

Thus, there is a BIG difference between this and eating with sinners.
