Should any Republican attend Biden’s inauguration?

It is rumored that Trump will not attend Biden’s inauguration but hold a rally instead.

My opinion is that he should not hold a rally and if he attends Biden’s inauguration, he should not take Melania or any other members of his family with him.

in fact, Democrats are so unkind and uncouth that I would not advise Republicans to attend Biden’s inauguration. They can always say that they have health worries but I think that they have security worries. I don’t recall Biden ever saying anything nice to anyone. Biden may order something bizarre such as bombing something right after he finishes the oath.

In spite of any theory of cheating - once the Congress affirms the elections, Trump should attend.

Trump should go, but would check his helicopter flying out on!

Of course he should go. And he should take Melania. I don't know why the rest of his family should attend. It's not their father's inauguration.

I know for some - their spines are too weak for the high road and virtue. But I hope President Trump can rise above that and attend. I haven't heard those rumors of his not attending.

Now, I, myself, won't be watching it at all. But my attendance isn't expected, warranted, and those people do not even know who I am.

.President Trump could score a lot of points for his legacy if he attends and keeps his mouth bravely shut. And behaves in a civil manner. Otherwise - he will go down in history as the biggest pouter - as an immediate past president that we have seen.

THAT will be his legacy if he resentfully does not attend.

Not only would/will the Democrats not go to Trump’s inauguration but they would/will be rioting and looting in the streets, yet somehow Trump would be wrong to not proudly attend the celebration of the person’s inauguration who blatantly stole the election and plans to fundamentally change our country, destroy our 3 Party system, permanently corrupt our voting system, adopt socialism and communism and subject us to Chinese supremacy. Got it!

Was listening to a show the other - and evediently - if one Rep and one Senator opposes any EC -(in writing) then both houses must have (separate) debates - then vote on it. So, its not over till Congress votes. Also it was stated this happened in 2016!

First, it’s a virtual event. I would expect to see TR:MP on a big screen interrupting B:den’s speech with “WRONG!, WRONG!, WRONG!”, if he “attended”.

Second, TR:MP’S legacy will be written by radical liberals. He will get no points for civility no matter what he does.

Do you remember Ob:ma flipping McCa:n the bird on election night when he announced McCa:n had conceded? Probably not, because it was quickly dismissed, but the crowd roared.

Personally, I expect B:den will refuse to attend the traditional “tea” before the inauguration, and TR:MP will not attend the virtual inauguration event and will scream “illegitimate Pres:dent!” all the way to the moving vans.

peace to you

Better yet, Trump should attend Biden’s inauguration by invoking the Insurrection Act and arresting all the Deep State operatives that conspired with China to interfere in our election as the Department of National Intelligence has now, today's news, determined has happened.

And depending on how the fraud investigations go, Pence could be opening the envelopes holding the alternate slate of electors for those states. They can be decertified, or even both slates decertified, which is not an impossibility even though unlikely.
