If people are not committed to the God of the Bible, they may see us as enemies, those who can be manipulated with falsehoods.

We know that many of our historical enemies lied to gain an advantage. We know many of the Democrats misrepresented things to disparage their opponents.

The bible tells us to seek multiple independent sources when evaluating the proclaimed misbehavior of others. Our presumption of innocence is a key biblical doctrine.
