Should we close more US bases?

    Do we have a need to keep all the military bases we have?

    Should we close some --- In the USA - what about overseas?

    How many should we close

    and if so --- WHY!

    We should bring home our troops in Korea, Japan, Germany, as their purpose is to guarantee American involvement because of our troops lives are at risk. If we honor human life, we would not engage in putting some other person's children at risk for decades. As we should have learned in Viet Nam, when we engage, we have an achievable goal with an exit clearly foreseeable. Otherwise, it is a war of attrition, where we squander lives. Afghanistan anyone?
