    Check this one out:

    SHOUT FORTH
Kenny Johnston, Joshua Rhodes, Jeremy Hathway
    Copyright (C) 2003 TwiceBorn Ministries

Lift your eyes to the One who gave you sight when you were blind.
To the One who gave you arms, lift up your hands!
Lift your voice and sing to glorify the King of kings,
To the One who gave you feet, rise up and dance!

For great is the Lord and worthy of praise,
From beginning to end, the Ancient of Days!
Shout forth His salvation among every nation,
Sing a new song to the One who is worthy of all praise!

He who has ears, let him hear,
Let he who has a mouth proclaim
The the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon us,
And the Son will come again!

Sorry the recording isn't better... this was just a jam session/rehearsal for our worship team about three years ago.

    good sounding song.

    THree suggestions:

Wording change: change "Let he who has a mouth proclaim" to "Let him who has a mouth proclaim." Grammatically correct.

I would truncate the last 5.1 measures of the ending. When you do the repeat tag line, "worthy of all praise," go through a chord progression once (4 measures?), and then either end there or one 1 of the next measure (if you desire to "resolve" the chord structure). Obviously that's my taste, and I might be the only one to think that. With this song style, it's my opinion that you usually won't want long instrumental endings, but rather a shorter one. Your mileage may vary.

I also like at the end of the chorus where you drop everything (hit it hard on "to the One") and bring everyone in on "praise." You do it at the end. I'd do it at least once more--offers variety in rhythm.

I like the song. Good stuff.

Thanks dude. Like I said, that was a rehearsal... and the other singers missed their additional parts on the end... which was kind of a "waterfall" effect with the voice parts and is hard to describe without hearing or seeing it on sheet music. We wanted, and thought it was fun to end the song on the upbeat of 4... and the guitarist didn't know we were going to. My fault. Since that time, it's been refined a little more, and I'll take your lyrical advice into account. Thanks for the review!
