Here's the FOXNews version of today's story concerning comments made by a top Al Qaeda leader:

Al Qaeda Leader Vows More Attacks

Here's an extract of some of the translated comments that related to America:

This is the nature of our enemy!

The war against terrorism will not end until every terrorist who dares attack us is killed or captured. They will not stop until they are defeated. There is no other way to deal with them save the second coming of Chirst!

Notice how, regrettably, some of what this leader of evil men said is the same as what some of our own are saying whatever their motive may be. We must not fall for any these lies, exaggerations, and distortions regardless of their source.

We are at war with an enemy of liberty and justice that knows nor respects no law - not even the laws of warfare - and this enemy must be dealt with accordingly.

We need to be fully united in our struggle against this evil no matter what it takes.

May God grant America wisdom, strength, and determination to do what must be done.

Excuse me while I shake in my boots.

Flowery meaningless Arab rhetoric wears me out.

What would be an appropriate three word Presidential response - an American President - to these threats?

Notice what a good parrot this guy is when parroting the liberal anti-war fear mongering rhetoric: Polly want a Vietnam?

And what is the cause again?

It started out to avenge 9/11 and bring those responsible, including Osama bin Laden, to justice. That morphed into preventing Saddam Hussein from using his WMDs against us or to punish him for violating some UN resolution or another (despite the fact that he did let the inspectors in). Then our cause became to topple Iraq's evil government - which we did with a vengence. Then it was to give the Middle East a stable democracy...

Do the rules of warfare prohibit invading a country that poses no plausible military threat?
What do the rules of warfare say about dealing with anarchy that rushes in to fill a governmental void?

And what is our cause now?

To fight "this" evil? That's suitably vague to cover just about anything...But I can't help wondering if "fighting evil" is really a military function.

I support bringing stable governments to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Aymen al-Zawahiri like Bin Laden are all Cowards. They are not on the front lines. They hide like rats in a cave and talk brave. They brain wash young arabs to commit suicide though they themselves are low life cowards.

And we might be inclined to offer you a truce if Muslim invaders left the Holy Lands of Western civilization. In the meantime, have some pork ribs - it just might clear your diseased brain.

Brother, I think that IS the only way to stop them. Please forgive me for raining on your parade. The war is going to be successful to some degree. But terrorism will never be completely erased. It's been going on since before Noah's day and will happen until Jesus comes back.

I find the whole "pigs" thing and "pork" thing offensive. Do you people realize that Jews don't eat that stuff? Our Saviour was Jewish. Do you people realize that it really makes us look bad to say those things. If we are "better" than them then we should ACT like it.

We are told not to judge someone for what they eat or don't eat. I don't see Jesus talking derogatorily about people eating pork nor saying things like "let em fly".

Oh, well. If you are offended by "pigs" and "pork" things, you really haven't had some good ole Southern baby backs!

Yes, our Savior was Jewish. That has nothing to do with the issue, but since you want to go there, Mohammed copied from the Jews anyway in the dietary laws and perverted the OT laws to his deviant demonic religion.

Furthermore, I really don't care how "bad" I look to terrorists who want to kill us. They were killing us long before I ever made a pork comment. And furthermore, I don't care if they are offended. They hate women anyway. My very existence as a Christian, American, woman infidel is offensive to them.

No, we aren't. That passage in Romans is instruction to believers about believers, those who are weaker in the faith. What faith? Faith in Jesus Christ, not allah or mohammed. And the Bible also says we ARE to judge people by their fruits. And we aren't to cast pearls before swine or that which is holy to the dogs. I consider terrorists swine and dogs.

Actually, Jesus called people vipers and whited sepulchres and wicked and Paul said they have reprobate minds - Romans Chapter One.

Not only that, but GOD will hold these terrorists in derision one day for their wickedness, when He comes as the JUDGE and with a bigger sword than allah's. Pay back will literally be hell.

I hate it when you say something that soften my heart. And the fact that what you say make sense really ruins my day.

Seriously, though, I think you make a good point. When a weenie acts like a weenie, sure, we can address it, but we shouldn't act like weenies ourselves. The least we could do is try to act like Kosker franks. Otherwise, we're no beter than the weenies. At least, that's what my mamma always used to say about 'dem bullies.
To be fair, if I made a comment about a "pork eatin' joo", you'd be all over me like white on rice. And rightly so, for that would be an inappropriate comment which deserves a polite LE handslap.

Now if you'll escuse me, I've got some bacon to fry up...
