    This story is a few months old but I searched and nobody appears to have brought it up yet.

    This is an amazing breakthrough in stem cell research not only because it removes the ethical issues of using embryonic stem cells, but also because it eliminates the problems of immune rejection when transplanting foreign tissues.

    I heard about this and thought at the time that it should quiet much of the criticism to stem cell research.

    I saw the press release a while back and immediately thought that the abortion mills of the world will do all they could to shut this up. They stand to loose a gold mine if they can't show any negatives in that published report. Interestingly, this has not been very hot news.
