North Korea state media warns of nuclear strike if provoked

Things in that part of the world are beginning to intensify. With Iran and Russia warning America that there will be consequences should we airmail any more Tomahawks to Syria. Or, North Korea warning of a nuclear strike should the American warships provoke anything. It looks like we are back to the sixties, with the need to purchase and stock up a bomb shelter ASAP; I ask how nervous any of you might be, with the saber rattling, and nukes clanking against nukes in storage sheds?

Does anyone think the fat DPRK ruler scares us in any way? I mean, he may be able to nuke us a few times, but, after that, North Korea will be glowing for the next 100 years at least. And as for Iran and Russia? Who believes they really want an all out war with America and her allies?

So, what are your thoughts on all this useless "chit-chat" and threats of WWIII? Which threat scares you the most, and which the least?

Are you itching for a thermonuclear war?

" I mean, he may be able to nuke us a few times, but, after that, North Korea will be glowing for the next 100 years at least."

Is that supposed to provide some sort of comfort? Just one nuke on, say, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle would create economic, humanitarian and national security havoc that you can't imagine.

BTW: Would the threat from North Korea be ameliorated if the dictator were thin?

Much prefer us to pressure China into putting a leash on him than us forced to nuke!

I don't see how you can deduce that I am "itching" for nuclear war. My comments were only stating that it would be stupid for that fat little loud mouth to think he could even go up against a super power. Unless he has more nukes and delivery systems then the CIA is knowledgeable of. Geesh! No one wants a war. So, before you go lecturing someone again, read a little closer.

Oh. If he were "thin" I'd probably call him a toothpick dictator. Did I step on your toe with a fat referrence? I realize that some reports have shown that Baptists like to eat. If I insulted you, I apologize!

Grace to you ... and yours on this Easter!!!
