Who are the Trump supporters on this board? I have not seen anyone declare their recommendation of Trump.
I have not landed on anyone solid yet. It will either be Huckabee or Cruz for me most likely. Should Trump actually get the nod I would vote for him unlike Christie, Graham, Kasich, or Paul.
Well, let me say that this is a great question, even though we are months away from anything serious that matters!
I do like Trump, but his running battle with Kelly on FOX needs to be put to rest.
As for a back up, I would not mind voting for Dr. Carson. In my opinion, he would make a humble, wise leader, and that is something America needs right now! And he is black, I think!
For those that feel I dislike Obama because of his race, you are dead wrong! I dislike him for his socialist ideas that are destroying America! His color has nothing to di with my opinions of him! But it is without a doubt that Obama has used race to split and divide this nation down racial lines! And that is something I do not see Carson doing.
Dr. Carson would make all people very proud of their president again, if he were to be elected!

Yes, kyredneck, the acid test for Presidential candidates is their position on Israel, and not taxes, not immigration, abortion, gun control, etc. Sheesh.
You didn't mention the national debt, another of the somber warnings from Eisenhower. The 'acid test' is their proclivity for intervention and take us into more disastrous war. It doesn't take a genius to see that there is someday coming a reckoning for our abandoning sound judgment, it's eventually going to come home and roost. This incredible debt load we've left our children with is going to bring it home in a very real way.
Eight million dollars a day to Israel we give them, and it's money we don't even have, we borrow it. We need to wean Israel from our teat.

What a joke. How many of these you think actually are devout Christians that have true love for Israel? What they have love for is the 65 million Christian Zionist votes in the U.S.. It's imperative for them to convey that image of Israel First. They're after Jewish funding/backing and the evangelical vote. Those like Graham are bought and paid for by AIPAC already, and he openly admits it!

Neil Boortz (of whom I am not a fan) did an interview with CNN a couple of days ago where he pointed out that Sanders and Trump aren't viable candidates and will soon be abandoned by most of their supporters. They are, however, a symbol of how disgusted the electorate is with their current crop of "leaders" and future leadership options.
I actually think he's right. Trump's supporters are rabble rousers and are primarily a group of GOP adherents disgusted with the weak field and constant personal sewage coming out of Washington DC.
He won't last very long, but he is (as I've mentioned around here before) the personification of everything that is wrong with our country.

Can you support your contention? Most are of the great silent majority. It's hard to be a rabble rouser in that group.
Well, if Trump's supporters are against what you have outlined --what's your problem? You would also be against the same --correct?
Do you respect any of the Republican candidates? And beyond respect, for I am sure you admire Dr. Carson --who among them represents what's right with our country?

Actually we have the strongest field of candidates, excluding Trump, in my lifetime and I have been following presidential elections since 1936 when Socialist FDR was elected for a second term to continue the depression until he got us involved in WWII!
