Some prayer requests

I have many, so, please bear with me here.

For my Dad's health: His kidneys are functioning at 26 percent. The normal is 60 percent. He is, of course, diabetic and 68 years old. He also claims to have accepted Christ as a young boy. But, I see no evidence of a conversion. Pray for him.

For my health: A while back, I was diagnosed with diabetes (type 2), high blood pressure and high cholesterol; I am 41 year old. (i will be 42 tomorrow, the 28'th.) Needless to say, this has hit me pretty hard. I am also have troubles with my left shoulder. The doctors seem to think that the pain and numbness shooting down my arm is being caused by my neck. I think they might be wrong. Prayers on that one, please.

For me, in general: Here's where the personal stuff is going to come out ---: I need alot of prayer. For one, I am trying to get back into the Word of God, everyday and it is killing me. I just cannot seem to get into the habit of doing it. I have ADHD as well and it is quite hard for someone who has that to get into the habit. ADHD people tend to only like to read stuff that totally interests them; so, to make myself do it is very hard.

I also have something, that I almost fear disclosing in here. Since I was about 18 years old; I have had a horrible addiction to Pornography. My dad, not surprisingly, was the person who showed it to me; and I also happened to discover a magazine at a friends house. In the 1990's I used to rent the VHS tapes. But nowadays; I simply can get it from the net. I am not married; so you can most likely guess the motivation. Sometimes, I honestly wish the Lord would just stop my heart, and take me home, so I don't have to struggle with my flesh any longer. Please pray for victory.
