Thought I would post a statement we can all agree on for a change.

"The Lord Jesus Christ is a wonderful Saviour."

Except I'd spell "Savior" correctly. Thank God I'm American.

You don't spell aluminum aluminium, do you? You don't ride in a lift or put your spare in the boot.

(Or maybe you do! Gotta remember we have some Brits and their kin on the BB).

 Reading that, I wondered again why some people spell Savior, Saviour.

But yes, "The Lord Jesus Christ is a wonderful Savior!" :praise:

We Australians spell it the correct way.

You see Savior has 6 letters the number of man.

Saviour has 7 letters the perfect number.

Yes, but was he predestined to be great or did he become great of his own free will?

    That should get us going!

    Amen!

    Amen to the OP!

And it's not just Baptists who love to debate -- it must be part of the human nature.

As a friend once said, He is good all the time! I will amend that now to say "Jesus is a wonderful Savio(u)r, all the time!"

No! Not the Welsh treatment! Once in a lifetime was enough. Just when I had figured out how to read lips that never moved. Just when I had adjusted my ears to listen to someone talking like we were at the North Pole - frozen and muddled.

Just when I thought I could understand the British - they broke into Welsh. They seemed ammused that I asked, "How do ya'll understand each other?"

"That is easy," he said with lips that never moved. "I just keep asking the bloke to repeat hisself until I understand him." Finally his lips moved as he started to laugh at me.

    ;)

Understanding how ya'll could possibly communicate is much easier than understanding HOW YOU BUILT AN EMPIRE. IMHO that is.
