    Need some help folks. I'm trying to find the title of a song & will see if any here know it.
    Here's some of it,...I think!
    When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound,
    and time shall be no more.
    And His glory breaks eternal bright and fair.
    I shall know my redeemer when I reach the other side,
    and His smile will be the first to welcome me.

    I shall know Him...
    I shall know Him.
    And redeemed by his side I shall stand
    I shall know him...
    I shall know him,
    by the print of the nails in his hand.
    I thought it would be "I shall know him" & am trying to find all the words. Can someone HELP??? :confused:

    Sounds like a cross between two songs:

    I Shall Know Him (by Fannie J. Crosby)

    and When the Roll is Called up Yonder - does this help?

    ---------------

    I SHALL KNOW HIM
    BY Fanny J. Crosby

    When my life work is ended,
    and I cross the swelling tide,
    When the bright and glorious morning I shall see
    I shall know my Redeemer when I reach the other side,
    And His smile will be the first to welcome me.

    Oh, the soul thrilling rapture when I view His blessed face
    And the luster of His kindly beaming eye;
    How my full heart will praise Him for the mercy, love, and grace
    That prepared for me a mansion in the sky.

    Oh, the dear ones in glory, how they beckon me to come,
    And our parting at the river I recall;
    To the sweet vales of Eden they will sing my welcome home,
    But I long to meet my Saviour first of all.

    Thro' the gates of the city in a robe of spotless white,
    He will lead me where no tears will ever fall;
    In the glad song of ages I shall mingle with delight,
    But I long to meet my Saviour first of all.

    Cho.
    I shall know Him, I shall know Him
    And redeemed by His side, I shall stand
    I shall know Him, I shall know Him,
    By the print of the nails in His hand.

    ----------------------------------

    WHEN THE ROLL IS CALLED UP YONDER

    When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more,
    And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair;
    When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore,
    And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.

    Refrain

    When the roll, is called up yon-der,
    When the roll, is called up yon-der,
    When the roll, is called up yon-der,
    When the roll is called up yonder I’ll be there.

    On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise,
    And the glory of His resurrection share;
    When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies,
    And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.

    Refrain

    Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun,
    Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care;
    Then when all of life is over, and our work on earth is done,
    And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.

    Refrain

    I think the song you are after is "My Savior First of All" - lyrics Fanny Crosby, music John Sweney. But you have just a few of the words wrong in the first stanza. Here is the link at Cyberhymnal:

    My Savior First of All

    We sing this one at my church regularly. It is one of my favorites.
