Soterist religion???????????????

Does anyone know what the Soterist religion/faith is? I am having trouble finding any information about it on the internet.

Henryk Elzenberg discusses two ethical attitudes, that of a 'meliorist' and that of a 'soterist', in his 'Ideal of Salvation in Pure Ethics'.

Soteriology is "The study of salvation," so I'm guessing that the term "soterist" refers to a religion centered around or based on a salvation concept. I've never actually heard the term myself, but that would be the conclusion I'd draw.
