    now that's a good idea. What would work great in tandem with that is a session AFTER the debt is erased on how NOT to get into debt again....

    Read the artical again, it mentions the fact that those who have thier debts relieved have to attend a seminar about how to remain sovent and then the pastor makes regular checks on how the family is doing. [​IMG]

    I wonder how many are waiting to Join that church. I would imagine that people would be lining up claiming to good christians in trouble.

    I am sure nothing at all bad was meant by calling the articale "cute," and it is cute in some sense. But this article is MUCH MORE than cute. It is revolutionary and should become normative for the Body of Christ.

    Not sure the tithes of a church should be used to pay off members debts. Why is tithing up now? Could it be people are expecting something in return? Would be a good case to follow up on in a few years. Did they treat the problem or just the symptoms?
