I'm sure you all get spam mail. Do you normally just hit delete?

Most of the time I do, but once in a while, I will answer the message.

Here is one I received today:

My name is Mrs Morine Williams I married to late Mr. Toni I am contacting you to let you know my desire to Donate sum US$: 3.500.000 (Three Million Five hundred thousand US Dollars) for charity foundation in your country which I inherited from my late husband .It is my desire to see that this money is invested to any organization of your choice in your country and distributed each year among the charity organizations, motherless baby?s home, mosques, churches, Schools, supporting destitute aged men and women or whatever you may have in mind that will be to the benefit of the less fortunate.

and here is my answer (yea, you have to scroll down a bit - I think its in the rules )

Love it - but now you just confirmed to them that yours is a valid e-mail. Hubby told me to just always ignore them.

    But that must be fun!!

NO! That money is mine. Get away Salty. Once I add it to the millions from the Ivory Coast I'm moving to Miami to hang out with my new friends.

I was messing with this one guy who said he was a GI in Iraq. I kept asking for additional info all in different emails - like DEROS, ETS, PCS, DOR, POV ect - all military acronyms - it was fun:tongue3:

If the e-mail is only text, it cannot infect you. Always set your e-mail program to not open attachments automatically and you will be fine. This is what we've always done and we've never had a virus (although we're on Macs now so it's a bit more difficult to get a virus).
