Huh…I did not know that the Islamic faith disavows the use of the term, “Father” however I did know something about that consept not being used in the Jewish religion. Too intimate they say…suggesting something sexual is the thought process they say. The Jews even will not write the word God, preferring (G-D).They will tell you is their form of Reverence for the Name of the Lord..

Regarding Spinoza, I believe his background as a Hebrew temple student and I’ve read he questioned Maimonides teachings, probably making his teachers nuts with his endless questioning. Still that developed answers that only an intellectual could muster.
