Sports jabs

This should be a fun thread with lots of humorous comparisons and accusations if you are thin skinned stay away. We would not want you to get your feelings hurt.

I hate the Raiders, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Miami Heat.

I wonder how anyone with a sane mind can watch hockey.

Oh yeah I almost forgot one of my greatest joys in sports is watching a stupid car go in circles for 6 hours. Boy talk about exciting. lap 298 blah, blah, blah.

I want to officially thank Indiana University for taking Kelvin Sampson and his 577 illegal phone calls away from Oklahoma University. Thank you Indiana. I truly hope coach Saund-r-s I mean Sampson learns to coach in the last seconds of the game. Headlines Nebraska (not a powerhouse in the Big Twelve) comes from behind 5 points down in the final 20 seconds to knock off OU. Only one of many great coaching gems.

We are sorry to Kelvin leave (not) and “good night and good luck” IU you’ll need it.

 

My sports jab for today is, drum roll please, the greediness of ESPN. How so one may ask, go to their web sight (below) to follow a current sports story and find you have to be a paying member to read it and then advertise they have all the cutting sports news and not add if you are willing to pay for it.

Not only that but you have to put up with about a gazillion web ads (almost as bad as NBA.com).
