    Steven Dill advocates a form of the Gap Theory, which at one time was featured by the Scofield Bible. This theory says that there was a gap in Genesis. It is considered scientifically obsolete and was refuted in a ",,,1978 publication of Dr. Weston W. Fields' fine book, Unformed and Unfilled...." according to Dr. John Morris, President of the Institute for Creation Research.

    Creation Magazine television program referenced Dr. Fields' book in a detailed refutation of the Gap Theory (a lot of it is mistranslation of Hebrew in an attempt to accommodate millions and millions of years). They also discuss the Gap Theory idea of Lucifer's Flood and the three chapters of Genesis concerning Noah's Flood roughly 4400 years ago.
