Stewards

We are stewards of what is given to us and they belong to God not us. We are to teach them the things of God constantly the ignorant, the children that they can be blessed by us. That we have a God who is just and will do what is right? That there is an elect predestined before even the foundation of the world and through them God is adding to the number saved that will be like the sands of the seashore, more than the stars in heaven.

Ephesians 1:13

Some say I have no emotion, because I do not worry about what I can't change, but put in God's hands.

What better hope in scripture that God is a just is there? Through Jesus there is hope even for children and the ignorant. They belong to Him and He can do what He pleases.

Death is a reminder to care for the people around us and love them, for we do not know when God will take them, they are His not ours.

Exodus 19:4-6

I understand it to be sin to worry. I also think it's a sin to argue over doctrine. Did the early church get bogged down in doctrine? I don't think so.

We should, as believers, be more concerned about our lost loved ones rather than barking up the wrong tree(s).

Have any of you realized that, for example, should you be charged with a crime and end up in court defending yourself, the lawyers spend most of their time arguing "points of law" all the while your innocence or guilt falls by the wayside?

The same principle often happens in many churches. Too much time is spent defending doctrine while souls slip into eternity with or without coming to know Jesus. What a shame.

Shouldn't preaching the gospel and leading the lost to the Lord be the main purpose?

I just want to be sure that you don't belive that God is still adding to the number of the elect. The Lord predestinated a certain number --those are the elect. The rool of the elect cannot be increased or diminished.

I agree with the scripture posted.

If God is not including adding anyone else those that hear the Gospel of their salvation having believed and there will be nothing lost if we continue preaching, that He is including, the elect will still be saved.

I will stick with what was said. He saved us by grace for His purpose to spread His grace in Jesus Christ.

Why? Because He wants all men to be saved and come to this knowledge of the truth.

There is not many groups, we are one in Christ depending not on our self for salvation, but what Christ did on the cross. If we are depending on us and not the grace of God then we would have to pay our own debt for our sin which is death. That will be no salvation at all.

God didn't know who all would be saved He wouldn't be God.

That only God knows the end result. I will not disagree with the elect or those being included added, or that God doesn't know the end result, if He didn't He wouldn't be God. All of them are one, not different groups that you said.

I do want to make sure that this is not talking about those who are in Christ who have come to Him, Jesus will not lose anyone He has been given

This is talking about those who were cut out, not able to enter His salvation because of unbelief.

Hebrews 3:
