Still not Sure which Version of Free Grace is Right

I had accepted the view that a person is saved simply by believing in Jesus for eternal life, but now I am concerned that that is not enough information for belief to justification. I think faith in the right Jesus, who is God who was made flesh and born into the world, who lived, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, is necessary. I also feel as though the KJV is perfect, and that one should not depend on other translations.

What is your opinion of this?

I think faith in the right Jesus, who is God who was made flesh and born into the world, who lived, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, is necessary.

"All have come short of the Glory of God", i.e. we can try to throw a rock across the Atlantic Ocean, to Europe, but we will find out in comes up short.

That is a comparison to our natural, sin-cursed Nature of flesh's ability to 'reach' The One and Only, True and Living, Creator God of the Universe, on our our power.

"You will not come to Me that you might have Life" (Eternal) Jesus said.

"The flesh profits nothing".

Romans 3:20, 21
20 "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 "For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin."

Have you heard in your conscience that God knows that you know the HE KNOWS you have sinned against Him, broken His Moral Law of the Universe ( by not being perfect and sinless), that you have offended Him, and stand guilty before God as a lost and helpless sinner?

" There is none that doeth good, no not one".

Is that you?

Have you taken you place as a sinner before God and worthy of His Wrath and Anger?

Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost.

The well (religiously, so to speak) need not a physician, but the (sin) sick (and doomed to an Eternal Hell).

What you have said is you think that to just believe with your mind is not enough.

Correct.

Our minds, as humans, hate God and love darkness and sin, if left to our own thinking.

You also said, "I think faith in the right Jesus, who is God who was made flesh and born into the world, who lived, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, is necessary."

Also correct, provided you see your genuine need for a SAVIOR, by owning up to being a God-hating sinner, as above.

Faith is always 'in something's as the object of your faith.

God must Give you the conviction in your heart and soul that you can do nothing without HIM and a new desire to TURN FROM YOURSELF AND YOUR PERSONAL SIN.

Have you found yourself at a time when you have felt this way?

Do you understand Jesus was Perfect and yet nailed to the cross and died because the sins of people, sinners, like you and I PUT HIM THERE.

What you have mentioned is THE GOSPEL = Jesus who lived Perfectly and kept God's Laws Perfectly, "died for our sins, was buried, and rose again".

To trust and believe in your heart and have faith in Jesus, that He lived, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, FOR YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR PERSONAL SIN is the way to Eternal Life.

You must be Born again.

The Gospel you stated, Jesus "lived, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, is necessary" and the Gospel is the Power of God unto Salvation and Eternal Life.

John said, " these things write I unto you that you MAY KNOW (BY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE) THAT YOU HAVE ( NOW) ETERNAL LIFE.

The ability and desire to Turn from your sin and to agree with God's Word that you are guilty before Him and to truth and believe and have faith that Jesus lived, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, is necessary, is the New Birth.

Do you feel your need, or have you, to Repent of your sins and Turn to God and His Son for forgiveness of your sins, based on Jesus who lived, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again?

God excepted Jesus payment for His children to be ETERNALLY SAVED from their sins.

How do we know?

God Raised Him from the dead.

Jesus gained the Power of Life OVER death!!!

Do you believe in Jesus as your SAVIOR and that He did that for you?

I also feel as though the KJV is perfect

The KJV is "a more sure Word of prophecy" meaning it is more sure and Trustworthy than the Words of God's prophets!

Jesus used and trusted and quoted His copies of the Old Testament, as if it were the preserved, inspired, Words of God.

How did Jesus know when He said, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day" that His Words would be written down and preserved for us today? and even until The Judgment?

Because He is God.

And He has the Power to watch over it and do it AND HE DID.

and that one should not depend on other translations.

There are corrupt manuscripts used in the 'Modern' translations and there were very Godless and evil people that worked on the original language texts used to translate them.

The result has been "death in the pot".

Many verses and teachings about The Trinity and Deity of Jesus have been altered or deleted!!

That is not of God.

People will play into the hands of the devil and fight you to the death over them and all the wrong imperfect things there are about the KJV, but they are also apostate on their view of church history and will say we all came from the Great Whore the mother of harlots and abominations, if you ask them, and they are, thereby, worshippers of the Beast.

I don't trust them or their filthy rags mascuradimg as God's Word.

The KJV's Authority is as good as it's Integrity. How good is that? 99.99%?

Who's offering you a better one?

Satan who is a liar?

One of the greatest blessings you could ever have is to know you have God's Preserved Inspired Word that you can trust you Eternal soul with.

Is it Perfect and do we worship it? No, but you'll be told you do by the flesh of men.

How Perfect?, then?

"The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple."

As Perfect as words and God wanted it to be, as His Book.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise and WORSHIP GOD, MY FRIEND.

GOOD MORNING!

Repentance is necessary (Mark 1:15) and that entails the understanding that one is a sinner and that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). Our Lord's death and resurrection are also facts to be believed.
If you want to use the KJV, that's fine, but don't make an issue on it, and don't get embroiled in the endless arguments over it that take place here, You also should bone up on your Olde English. For example, do you know what 'leasing' is in Psalm 5:6? You better had, because the Lord is going to destroy all those who speak it! And you you know that 'let' now means the exact opposite of what it did in 1611 (2 Thessalonians 2:7)?

faith in the right Jesus

28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Mt 11

We all modify our beliefs as we grow in Christian maturity.

The idea if we believe the right things with the right intensity we are mathematically saved is held by many Christians. But that view leaves our Romans 4:23-25 which teaches it is God who decides if our faith will be credited as righteousness. So God might credit the faith of someone who knows little doctrine, but loves God from the bottom of his or her heart, and on the other hand might reject the faith of someone who knows all the "right" doctrine but treasures earthly things as much as Christ.

As far as KJVonlyism, it is pointless to waste time on the subject.
