What purpose does this serve? I think we all know that this is a terrible problem. Are you a Baptist? This reminds me of the person that hits himself with a hammer because it feels so good when they stop? Also, why are you posting this in other denominations? Since the thread is about the Baptist denomination, why is it in other denominations?
I have never seen you condemn the RCC murder and torture throughtout church history, or their problem with predators. Most of all, most revealing, you have never commented on the roll call of thieves from the Pentecostal/charasmatic movement of TV evangelists, starting with Robert Tilton, going through several dozen, to people like Jimmy Swaggart.
So again, what is the purpose, to show you have no loyalty or pride in the denomination you claim to be a part of?

You guys have to let these guys go. They will get bored and go away.
Let's stop the labels and just say "Stop the Predators". Period. They are everywhere and it is our job in each of our churches to protect our children and if we find ANY who hurt the kids, we need to bring them to the law and press charges - hard. Enough is enough.

I haven't been able to figure out who you hate more, Catholics or Pentecostals. You sure can dish it out but you absolutely cannot take it. You are the one that took the shot at Catholic predators but when it was pointed out that there are many Baptists predators you screamed, FOUL! Here again, you are sniveling because another Baptist has revealed this to be a problem in your own denomination.
Why don't you spend more time cleaning your own house and stop with the name-calling and hatred.
Much more so is claiming experiences are from God, when they are not!

You cannot figure out why the sun rises. What I cannot figure out is why you are here or why you are allowed to continue here. This is a Christian board in general, and Baptist in particular. That means the basic requirement is salvation by grace, not the Gospel that either you, the RCC, or SDAs advocate. It is a real stretch of the imagination to call a cult Christian.
You are right on one point, since Baptists do have some moral authority, these type of problems are glaring. In the setting of the Catholic Church, which has no moral authority, and is rotten to the core on the inside, the difference is not so apparant.

The name is not Mike for the one hundredth time. I really do not care, in this case, what other posters think, labels or not, the whole concept of starting a thread like this is disguisting. Funny to me, in all the years I have been in ministry, I have never encountered anyone who did this.

That website is ran by members of the American Atheist Society and a few members of the Do Right Hyles Anderson group. I have had a few debates with some of them in the past and they are shallow on facts, twist the facts they do have, and would report on anything that is anti-Baptist.
Skippy was upset that I said the charismatic idiocy is neither biblical nor Baptist. Next thing you know this thread shows up.

That website, along with members of Stuff Fundies LIke and some of the DO Right groups have members that make fake profiles that deliberately get into Baptist websites to stir trouble. I have published several articles on my website about these groups and in return, have seen numerous fake profiles of me and several other Baptist forum members popping up on their websites.
Their M/Os are easy to see from forum to forum. They normally get banned eventually, and then come back under a different name and post some crazy study on Baptists, or praise of the RCC and some blatantly antibiblical doctrine that they are certain would rouse Baptists of any group.
The very day I started posting on this forum about a week or so ago, Jeri Massi (an antifundamentalist) had immediately posted a fake profile of me on her website mocking a comment that I had made on this forum.

Yea I am quite familiar with these wackos. They are mostly extreme liberal Christians who are disgruntled that conservative churches did not tolerate their behavior.
