Has anyone heard of or played a Strum Stick ?

We went to a Bluegrass concert last night, one of the muscians had a "Strum Stick" and he played some tunes on it, it was really interesting, I couldn't put my finger on it, but it sounded like an insrument I've heard before.

I looked it up on Google, among the descriptions, it claimed it sounded like a Mandolin, so now I know what it sounded like.

BTW, the concert was wonderful, some teens were playing instruments, they are very talented, also an 11 year old girl played 3 solos on a fiddle. Not to leave out older folk, there were some who were also very good.

I have a Strum Stick (Not a McNally) made by a man in Florida. He sells them on E-bay. His seller name is Sweatpea50 or something like that.

I'l go now and look it up, and come back with the right name.
