This is a very interesting article, I had not ever stopped to think about what happens when Shi'ite Governments support Sunni Terrorists who then launch attacks on Shi'ite muslims as we are seeing in Iraq. It appears that many Shi'ites have well and truly had enough of this, and we could be seeing a Shi''ite versus Arab conflict as a result.

    - Something very important is happening that is changing the Middle East dramatically and perhaps permanently in a way no one expected: the decline of the Arab world, the development of a major conflict between Sunni and Shi'ite Arabs, and the rising power of Iran.

Certainly, since the Iranian revolution of 1979, Arabs have worried about Islamist Iran becoming a major regional power. After all, that was a key reason behind the eight-year-long Iran-Iraq war, which included Gulf Arab oil-producing states giving Saddam Hussein billions of dollars to defend them, and then pleading for the United States and Europe to defend their oil tankers from Iranian attack.

Iraq will end up in a civil war like I've predicted all along. Shiites will align and become part of Iran (ancient Persia). Sunnis will be in the middle. Kurds will absorb into Turkey or become their own Kurdish state.

Our troops may end up coming home and be spared from harm in all of this as the potential for a civil war heats up in the United States. They will be needed at home.

There will not be another civil war in the United States, regardless of what any fearmonger says.

And you base this on what? I base it on the strife that is to come for control of our nation.

Doesn't matter. It will happen after I'm gone anyway. Back on topic.
